Medicine the way it used to be.

Physician Owned and Operated

Why Direct Primary Care ?

Direct Primary Care is an arrangement between a patient and doctor in which the doctor provides agreed upon services for a low monthly payment. This practice limits the number of patients a doctor cares for, and allows you to spend more time with your doctor. This extra time helps your doctor provide better, more personalized care. The monthly fee pays for your doctor’s services, staff, rent and utilities.

Direct Primary Care takes medical insurance out of your primary medical care.  Therefore, insurance companies cannot decide what care you receive - you and your doctor do. Medical insurance is still very important to have for major expenses like specialty care, emergency treatment and hospitalizations. This is like having car insurance that pays for major expenses, but not routine maintenance like oil changes, tire rotations, etc.

Direct Primary Care fosters the patient-physician relationship which is the cornerstone of medicine. Through this relationship, you and your physician work together to meet your health care goals.

Your personal physician knows you.

Dr. Loy Graham

I was born and raised in Texas, graduated from Anahuac High School and Lamar University. After starting a family, I pursued my lifelong dream of becoming a doctor. I attended UT Health Science Center in San Antonio on a Navy scholarship and graduated in 1990.  Immediately upon graduation, I reported to Portsmouth Naval Hospital for an internship in Pediatrics.  I was then sent to Naval Air Station, Kingsville, Texas where I was a general medical officer in a branch medical clinic. After serving  4 years, 3 as  Senior Medical Officer, I returned to finish a residency in Family Practice at Texas A&M/Scott and White in Temple, Texas.

Since residency, I have practiced Family Medicine at Scott and White clinic in Taylor and King’s Daughters Clinic in Temple. Since starting Your Personal MD in 2015, I have been more fulfilled as a physician than any time previously. The relationships I have made with patients are priceless. I want to be a family physician who knows my patients so that together, we can make the best health care decisions for them.

Dr. John Bebeau

I am a recent graduate of the Family Medicine residency program at Baylor Scott and White in Temple, TX. I was born in Beaumont, TX, and raised in Jacksonville, FL. I completed my undergraduate coursework at the University of Florida, then moved to the mountains of North Carolina. I worked as the Director of Operations of a traditional insurance-based practice, where I witnessed many ways that third-party groups can interfere with the doctor-patient relationship as it was originally intended. I used this experience as motivation to go back to school to become a physician so that I could explore practice models that prioritized the doctor-patient relationship. Direct Primary Care caught my attention as second-year medical student, and I have focused on practicing in this model ever since. I am honored and excited to be joining Dr. Graham, and look forward to building strong relationships with patients with the goal of helping guide them on their journey of achieving and maintaining their health goals. My wife, Morgan, and I are proud parents to three girls.
